Beauty and the Beast Jr.
Friday, March 12th, 7:00 pm at Clinton Twp Middle School, 34 Grayrock Road, Clinton NJ
Step into an enchanted world when the Clinton Township Middle School Drama Club presents two performances of “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 12 and at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 13. The shows will be held in the school’s new 600-seat theatre, located at 34 Grayrock Road.  All tickets are $8 and seating is reserved. State senator to talk about NJ economy and budget

State Senator Michael Doherty will talk about the state’s economy, budget deficits and a pending bill that would change health care benefits for public employees at a program sponsored by the Clinton Township Republican Club.  The program is free and open to everyone. Food Sensitivities vs. Allergies seminar
Thursday, March 18th, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Clinton book shop, 33 Main St
Nicole Schaldone, a registered dietician and gastroenterology nutrition specialist for Advanced Gastroenterology and Nutrition, will discuss the difference between food sensitivities vs. food allergies and testing to determine sensitivities. Participants will be able to talk with her gastroenterology issues. The program is free and all who attend will receive a guest pass to be used at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers in Clinton or Whitehouse Station. Look for ghosts at Red Mill Museum in Clinton
Friday, March 19th, 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm tours at Red Mill Museum, Clinton, NJ
 
Learn about the Red Mill’s past through the spirits of those who still call it home; both believers and non-believers in the paranormal phenomena are invited. Tour the grounds and experience not only those eerie matters but also the history and cultural background.   Tours are 7:30 p.m. March 19 or 26 (arrive at 7 p.m.). A 9:30 p.m. tour (arrive at 9 p.m.) with spiritual medium Arlene costs $30. There is a 10% discount for museum members. The tours are interactive and groups are small and are meant for those 18 years or age or over. Space is limited; reservations are required and light refreshments will be served.

People for Animals, Inc. is a private not for profit organization dedicated to animal welfare. Comedian Jay Mohr performs to benefit Anderson House
Saturday, April 17th, 7:30 pm at Hunterdon Central High School auditorium, Flemington
Proceeds will benefit Anderson House, a halfway house in Whitehouse Station for women recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction. Mohr is a veteran of “Saturday Night Live” and “Last Comic Standing.” He currently stars in the CBS sitcom, “Gary, Unmarried.” His mother, Jean Mohr, is president of the Anderson House Board of Trustees.
 
General admission tickets are $40 each and VIP tickets, $100 (includes premiere seating and a “Meet & Greet” catered reception with Mohr after the show). Tickets are available now at andersonhouse.org.
