THE BUZZ - CLINTON STILL HAS AN ECOLI PROBLEM ON THIER HANDS
Posted on Jul 26, 2010
Buzz around town is that the secondary tests on well 11 in the town of Clinton once again tested positive for E coli. It is very important to note that water boiling alert was taken off because the well is not - repeat – is not – being used. That doesn’t mean the water department doesn’t have a pain in the back end trying to figure out where the fecal matter is coming from, human or animal and how it can be stopped. Thankfully there was some rain this weekend which takes a a bit of pressure off of the other wells, but if we have a long dry stretch again as the forecast looks all week, this well being out of service may tax the system a bit. More info may be gleaned at tomorrows council meeting.  Source
